Dancemania
Dancemania was a series of dance music compilation albums released by EMI Records Japan under Universal Music (formerly by i-Dance (Intercord Japan) under Toshiba EMI Ltd). Almost all albums were released as nonstop-megamixes that made the entire album one continuous track. The series primarily featured Eurodance, Happy Hardcore, Disco, House, Eurobeat, and Hip Hop, but also contained music from many other genres. The first CD album, [r=473449], was released on April 10, 1996, and the most recent CD album, [r=5212194], was released on November 13, 2013. Dancemania commonly uses a disproportionate, featureless person to identify albums in the series. The humanoid-shaped figure is seen in various dance-like poses on each album and will usually be prominently featured on the cover or appear somewhere on the album's printed material.
